Biography

Mieczysław was the son of Anna and Joseph Klepacz. He was born on 13 January 1923 in Brójce. He had two brothers and a sister. In September 1938 Mieczysław Klepacz started attending a private gymnasium in Łódź, Poland. He never finished school, as during the war he and his brother Tadeusz were captured by the SS and sent to Nazi concentration camps – held as political prisoners (“Protective Custody”). Mieczysław died in Mauthausen concentration camp on 7 April 1945. Tadeusz died in Dachau concentration camp.
