Biography

Marie Louise Goedert (née Duboutay) was born on 25 September 1900 in Verleumont (Belgium). She lived with her husband Willy Goedert and their two sons in Luxembourg. In December 1942 she was arrested for being a member of the Ligue Patriotique Luxembourgeoise (Luxembourgian Patriot League) and for listening to radio broadcasts by the BBC. Marie Goedert was deported to various prisons, to Ravensbrück concentration camp and finally to Mauthausen concentration camp. On 11 April 1945 she died in the infirmary camp. He son Fredy died in Natzweiler concentration camp.
