Biography
He was born on 6 August 1910 in Vistabella del Maestrazgo (Castellón), son of Alexandre Folch Clerich and Dolors Gómez Salvador. He was single and he used to work as bricklayer. He used to live in 105 Major Street in Caldes de Montbui. Alexandre was exiled and deported. He was interned in the Sagan VIII-C Stalag, and later the Trier XII-D Stalag. On 25 January 1941 he was transferred to Mauthausen as the prisoner number 3.857 and on 27 July transferred to Gusen. He died on 19 October 1941, at the age of 31. Thanks to the Collective information work Livre Mémorial the day of arrival to Mauthausen is known. He was sent to the North with his company and was imprisoned during the Dunkirk battle. According to registration of deaths in Mauthausen/Gusen, he passed away at 09:45 am. He had been registered as bricklayer.
