Biography

Born on 01/05/1918 in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo (Córdoba, Spain). He was a bricklayer and was single.

He was captured in Fronstalag 184, in Angoulême, from where the convoy called “of the 927 Spaniards” left on 20/08/1940. After four days of overcrowding on the train, without food and hygiene, they arrived in Mauthausen on 24/08/1940. The women and children under the age of thirteen were sent to Irún, to be handed over to Franco's police. 431 men and adolescents were interned in the camp, among them Félix and 35 others from Córdoba, of whom only two saw the liberation of the camp in 1945.

He entered Mauthausen on 24/08/1940, registration number 4064 and was transferred to Gusen on 24/01/1941, registration number 9542. Killed in Gusen on 30/11/1941. According to the camp documentation he died at 7:15 by “suicide by electrocution”.
