Biography

Adolf Kozłowski was the son of Jan Kozłowski and Julia Kozłowska (nee Ruszkowska), stepbrother of Irena, Julian and Kazimierz (children of Julia Kozłowska and Stanisław Kozłowski, brother of Jan). A year before secondary school certificate, in 1939, he left Warsaw to fight in the last battles with gen. Kleberg army. They were captured and taken to Dęblin fortress. Thanks to school ID card and supposition he was with the soldiers only by accident, he was later freed and got back to Warsaw. Arrested in 1940.
