Biography

He was born in Poljubinj 18, Slovenia. His parents were Andrej Manfreda from Poljubinjske Ravne 60 and Marija Zalašček from Poljubinj 18. Andrej Manfreda (1886) married on 7 May 1913 with Jožefa Leban, born 13 March 1889 in Poljubinj. They had three children: Ana, Pavla and Anton Manfreda. During World War II he was partisan activist in Volče region. Because of one traitor he was arrested.
