Cane Çaço was a former local police officer and businessman who owned a bakery in Vlorë, Albania. Because of that, he used to secretly feed the partisans who were fighting to protect Albania from the Nazi regime, but was whistleblown by Albanian Nazis, boarded into a truck and sent to Mauthausen, where he spent his last days.
