Biography

Tadeusz Latarski lived in Warsaw at the street called Mostowa 16. I knew from my grandmother that he decided to stay in Warsaw when Uprising started. He was arrested during the occupation at the beginning of Warsaw Uprising at the beginning of September 1944. He was forced to walk to city of Pruszkow by German army and he was transported from there to Auschwitz concentration camp., He was admitted to Auschwitz concentration camp on 4 September 1944. His prisoner number was 194946. On 26 February 1945 he was transferred from Auschwitz to concentration camp Mauthausen.  He died in concentration camp Gusen on 20 April 1945. From the information that my grandmother has received after war from another Mauthausen prisoner we know that he was cremated in the camp.
