Leon De Baere was the son of Philemond De Baere (1859-1920).

My father provided me with the following information about the cause of death of Leon De Baere:

He fell down, exhausted,

while hacking in the rocks

and then was clubbed to death

by a guard.

Following my parents, this was the real cause of death of Leon De Baere.
