Wojciech Wojcieszak was born on 19 March 1894 in Niestronno, Poland, in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Mogilno poviat, in the Mogilno commune. His mother was called Anna Wojcieszak. The father is unknown. He had three brothers (Franciszek, Jan and Józef) and two sisters (Rozalia Michalina and Józefa). Wojciech Wojcieszak and Józef Wojcieszak were twin brothers.
