Józef Pietraszek 1902 - 1941 Edit

My grandfather and my grandmother Zuzanna were biology teachers in the village of Skrzynno near Wieluń in Poland before World War Two. My grandfather was the principal of this school. Because of this political position, he was arrested by the Gestapo in 1940. He left behind two daughters: my deceased mother Barbara, who was three years old, and Alina, who lives nowadays in Gliwice and was eight years old at the time.

My grandfather was apparently very sociable and played the violin.
