Biography

Born in Picassent (Valencian Community, SPAIN) in March 1918. He worked as a farmer in his hometown until he enlisted as a soldier in the Spanish Republican Army. After the Spanish Civil War ended, he fled as a refugee to France in March 1939, persecuted by the National Army (winner of the war). In June 1940 he was taken prisoner in Belfort (France) by the German occupation army and transferred to labor camp (Stalag) XI-B in Fallingbostel (Germany).

On January 27, 1941 at the age of 23, he was deported to Mauthausen concentration camp (Austria) in a cattle wagon. He was registered with the number 6148. On October 20, 1941 he was transferred to Gusen (branchcamp of Mauthausen) where he died on November 27, 1941.
