Biography

He was born on March 19, 1916, in Andújar (Jaén, Spain). He was a single farmer by profession.

In the Spanish Civil War, he was a Spanish Republican and fought on the Extremadura front.

Upon crossing into exile in France, the 109th Company, probably founded and held in the Saint-Cyprien internment camp, based on the number of the foreign workers' company. The 109th CTE (Compañía de Trabajadores Extranjeros/Compagnie de travailleurs étrangersserved in the French army from December 23, 1939, bound for the Maginot Line to Faulquemont, Saint-Florentin, and Delle, where he was captured in June 1940 and taken to Frontstalag 142 in the citadel of Besançon with registration number 2561.

From there, on January 10, 1941, he left for Stalag XI-A in Altengrabow, Germany, as a prisoner of war, and departed in April 1941 on a convoy to Austria. On 26/04/1941, he arrived at the Mauthausen concentration camp, assigned registration number 3970. Transferred to the Gusen branch camp on 20/10/1941 with registration number 13894, where he was murdered in block 17 at 4:00 a.m. on 22/03/1942 at the age of 26.
