Biografía
Nació el 21/07/1913 en Mengíbar (Jaén, España). De profesión jornalero y casado con Petra Galán Arenas. En la Guerra Civil Española perteneció a la 24 Brigada Mixta llegando a ser cabo y con actuaciones en Seseña, Batalla del Jarama y Ebro, entre otras. Pasó la frontera en febrero del 1939, por Le Perthus, una vez perdida la Guerra, obligado a un exilio forzoso.
Ya en Francia, estuvo en el campo de internamiento de Saint-Cyprien, donde se alista en la 108 Compañía de Trabajadores Extranjeros, al servicio del Ejército Francés, con destino a la Línea Maginot, sector 11, trabajando en la construcción de frentes fortificados con artillería, en las localidades de Faulquemont, Saint-Florentin y Morhange, teniendo su último domicilio en Guessling-Hémering.
El 20/06/1940, tras invadir los nazis Francia, es capturado en Delle y llevado como prisionero de guerra al Frontstalag 140 de Belfort, con matrícula 8880. Allí estará hasta enero de 1941 que lo trasladan al Stalag XI-A de Altengrabow, Alemania. Desde allí llega al campo de concentración de Mauthausen un 26/04/1941, asignándole la matrícula 3809. El 20/10/1941 es transferido al subcampo de Gusen con matrícula 13986, donde es asesinado un 03/01/1942 con tan solo 28 años.
He was born on July 21, 1913, in Mengíbar (Jaén, Spain). He was a day laborer by profession and married to Petra Galán Arenas. In the Spanish Civil War, he belonged to the 24th Mixed Brigade, rising to the rank of corporal, serving in Seseña, the Battle of Jarama, and the Ebro, among others. He crossed the border in February 1939, through Le Perthus, after the war was lost, forced into exile.
Once in France, he was held in the Saint-Cyprien internment camp, where he enlisted in the 108th Foreign Workers Company, serving with the French Army. He was stationed at the Maginot Line, Sector 11, working on the construction of artillery-fortified fronts in the towns of Faulquemont, Saint-Florentin, and Morhange. His last residence was in Guessling-Hémering. On June 20, 1940, after the Nazis invaded France, he was captured in Delle and taken as a prisoner of war to Frontstalag 140 in Belfort, with registration number 8880. He remained there until January 1941, when he was transferred to Stalag XI-A in Altengrabow, Germany. From there he arrived at the Mauthausen concentration camp on April 26, 1941, where he was assigned registration number 3809. On October 20, 1941, he was transferred to the Gusen subcamp with registration number 13986, where he was murdered on January 3, 1942, at the age of just 28.
