Biografía
His parents were from Granada, Andalusia. He had ten siblings. His wife was named Josefa García de Villalta Fernández. He had two children, Georgia Martínez García de Villalta (born 1935) and Aureliano Martínez García de Villalta (born 1939). He studied journalism and when he completed his military service he stayed in the army. He became a Captain in the Infantry. He belonged to the Republican Army. When Franco invaded Spain he fled to France, where his military rank was recognized until the Germans invaded. He was taken to Nuremberg (Germany) and later transferred to Austria to the Mauthausen concentration camp. He was shot on September 16, 1942 at 36 years of age.
