Biografie
Stanisław Renz wurde geboren am 24. April 1894 in Bednary (Poznań poviat), als Sohn von Michał und Mutter Józefina, geb. Firlejkowa.
Er absolvierte die Grundschule in Wronczyn.
Bis zum Alter von 18 Jahren studierte er Musik bei Privatlehrern in Posen.
1912 wurde er in die deutsche Armee eingezogen.
Er nahm am Ersten Weltkrieg an der Ost- und Westfront teil.
Er wurde in Arras (Frankreich) verwundet.
Er wurde mit einem Eisernen Kreuz der 2. Klasse ausgezeichnet.
Mitte Dezember 1918 meldete er sich freiwillig bei der polnischen Armee in Posen.
Er wird zum 2. Garnisonsbataillon nach Posen berufen.
Am 22. Januar 1919 trat er dem 15. Feldartillerie-Regiment bei.
Er kämpfte an der Bobruisk-Front.
Nach seiner Rückkehr in die Garnison begann er, das Orchester des 15. Feldartillerie-Regiments zu organisieren.
1924 absolvierte er das staatliche Musikkonservatorium.
1927 wurde er als Leiter eines Militärorchesters in das 7. Mounted Rifle Regiment versetzt.
Er erhält ein Diplom eines Militärkapellmeisters.

1939 nahm er als Kapellmeister des 7. berittenen Gewehrregiments an der Schlacht von Bzura teil.
Er kämpft in Warschau als Verteidiger und wird nach der Kapitulation 1942 in das Konzentrationslager Mauthausen-Gusen gebracht und dort getötet. So wurden seine drei Söhne Stanisław, Kazimierz und Tadeusz zu Waisenkindern.

Until the age of 18, he studied music with private teachers in Poznań.
In 1912 he was drafted into the German army.

In mid-December 1918, he volunteered for the Polish army in Poznań.
He is called up to the 2nd garrison battalion in Poznań.

After returning to the garrison, he started organizing the orchestra of the 15th field artillery regiment.
In 1924 he graduated from the state music conservatory.
In 1927 he was transferred to the 7th Mounted Rifle Regiment as the head of a military orchestra.
He obtains a diploma of a military bandmaster.

In 1939, as the bandmaster of the 7th Mounted Rifle Regiment, he took part in the Battle of Bzura.
He fought in Warsaw as a defender and, after capitulation, was captured and killed in the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp in 1942. Thus, his three sons Stanisław, Kazimierz and Tadeusz became orphans.

Do 18 roku życia uczył się muzyki u prywatnych nauczycieli w Poznaniu.
W roku 1912 został powołany do armii niemieckiej.
Brał udział w I wojnie światowej na froncie wschodnim i zachodnim.
Został ranny pod Arras (Francja).
Został odznaczony żelaznym krzyżem II klasy.
W połowie grudnia 1918, w stopniu podoficerskim zgłosił się na ochotnika do armii polskiej w Poznaniu.
Zostaje powołany do II batalionu garnizonowego w Poznaniu.
22 stycznia 1919 roku wstępuje do 15 Pułku Artylerii Polowej.
Walczył na froncie Bobrujskim.
Po powrocie do garnizonu zajął się zorganizowaniem orkiestry 15 pułku artylerii polowej.
W roku 1924 kończy państwowe konserwatorium muzyczne.
W roku 1927 zostaje przeniesiony do 7 Pułku Strzelców Konnych na stanowisko kierownika orkiestry wojskowej.
Uzyskuje dyplom kapelmistrza wojskowego.

- medal za długoletnią służbę
- złoty krzyż za zasługi
W roku 1939 jako kapelmistrz 7 Pułku Strzelców Konnych bierze udział w bitwie nad Bzurą.
Walczy w Warszawie jako obrońca i po kapitulacji dostaje się do niewoli i ginie w obozie koncentracyjnym Mauthausen-Gusen w 1942 roku. Tym samym osieraca 3 synów: Stanisława, Kazimierza i Tadeusza.
